Ted Lanzo, EA, ChFC
Ted Lanzo is the founder and President of The
Parents’ Group. He graduated from Duquesne
University. He started his business career working for a Pittsburgh CPA firm doing tax research and then later started his own insurance agency; Lanzo, Lutz & Associates
from scratch. While obtaining his degree he worked in a CLA home with special needs children. That is where he saw the need to help these kids.
He is a former President of the Allegheny Valley Rotary Club. In his business career, he has earned various professional designations: ChFC, Chartered Financial Consultant; EA, Enrolled Agent; CPIA, Certified Professional Insurance Agent and LUTC, Life Underwriting Training Council. For fun, he coached girls jr high soccer for years at Riverview. He enjoys gardening, playing soccer on his adult team and walking with his wife every summer evening.

Jack Owen, Esq
 
Jack Owen is a tax lawyer at Rhoades & Wodarczyk,
LLC, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jack has a Masters of Law and Taxation from the Marshall -Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary. He also graduated
from the University of Akron School of Law, where he was on the Law Review, and Grove City College
(cum laude). Jack has practiced tax law since 1984. He has experience with
the IRS, Departments of Revenue of numerous states, probate courts, and other state and local administrative and tax agencies. He currently serves as President- Elect of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council, an organization devoted to assisting nonprofit agencies in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Jack is pleased to make his tax and estate planning experience available to families with special needs children. Jack is an Eagle Scout, volunteering with his sons’ Boy Scout Troop. He believes it is important to give back to our community.

Nancy has over ten years of experience in both Trust
Administration and Trust Operations. For eight of those years, she has developed an expertise in the area of Special Needs Trusts. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and she is a graduate of the Midwest Trust School’s
Personal Trust program. Nancy serves as the Secretary of the Fiduciary Education Foundation, is on the board of the Cambria/ Somerset County Estate Planning Council, and is a volunteer ombudsman with the Cambria County Area Agency on Aging.
